"Fairy tales are more than true: not because they

tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us

that dragons can be beaten."

                                                         –Neil Gaiman

The Princess & The Pea

First published in 1835 by Hans Christian Andersen, this is a story about a fussy prince who can't find a bride to his liking.

He's not sure exactly what "type" he's looking for, but the prince knows she will be an extraordinarily sensitive girl.
